As I celebrate a year since I founded this blog, amidst the lack of activity, I wanted to briefly mention my happiness from a trip to the East in March 2026 to April 2026. I spent time with my dear submariner friend, Jack, and my college buddy, Alec in Kyoto, Hakone, Tokyo and Osaka.

Japan’s traditional tone mixed with a flushness of modernity made this trip transformational for my own spirited attitude.
